AVSS announces new drone parachute for DJI Dock 2. The PRS-M3DT is compatible with the DJI M3D and M3TD.

AVSS is excited to introduce the PRS-M3DT, a drone parachute recovery system for the DJI Dock 2. AVSS is now accepting pre-orders, with delivery to authorized resellers starting in June 2024.

The PRS-M3DT features a plug-and-play design and includes a Drone Parachute Recovery System (PRS), Flight Termination System (FTS), Automatic Triggering System (ATS), and Manual Triggering Device (MTD), along with EASA 2512 and ASTM F3322 documentation.

In the upcoming months, AVSS will offer an EASA 2511 compliant version, the PRS-M3DTEX, meeting Enhanced Containment requirements with segregated FTS. This enhancement prevents fly-aways near densely populated areas or airports, as mandated by EASA regulations.

With the launch of the PRS-M3DT, AVSS has signaled its commitment as the preferred drone parachute recovery system for DJI products. With a surge in inquiries from North America and Europe, the PRS-M3DT promises to meet the demands of end users and DJI dealers alike. This unveiling coincides with DJI’s announcement of the DJI M3DT and DJI M3D for the DJI Dock 2, offering a comprehensive Drone-in-a-Box solution for authorized dealers and end users worldwide.
